Over the past couple of months, the Word “Crystallize” has been ringing loudly in my spirit, so loudly that it awakens me at night. Sometimes, the sound simply calls for me to look more at the mirror of Christ so that I can see how to show up in life. Overall, I am so grateful that I have discovered the Way to be in life.
Do you ever have similar experiences? If so, I would love to hear about them.
Well, the word Crystallize in itself, at least in the marketplace, means the solidification of a concept. An idea that makes logical sense, presented and served as a solution to a problem. Now, there is nothing about that. However, when the Spirit of the Lord illuminated this Word in my spirit, its sound rang a little different. He desired for it to take on a different spiritual form. One that symbolizes the spiritual processes that takes place over time for a person to re-produce His character pictured in Christ Jesus. So much so that this change produces an original duplicate of the person of Christ Himself. He wants every fiber of our character and being to resemble His.
Crystallization in Christ is the call for today’s generation to look like Christ Jesus. It is the very personalized encounter with the Spirit of Christ. It represents the light that suddenly strikes a person’s Spirit to cause them to desire to overturn their lifestyle.
How can I best describe this change? It is almost as if a person were sailing in a particular direction that they thought to be right, only to end up in a place called chance after suddenly encountering a shattering storm. A storm that somehow reveals certainty. And gave them a new direction called righteousness, bearing the destination called life.
Does this ring sound in your spirit? If so, please share what your encounter and experience with the spirit of Christ was like and how He has sustained you over the years.
I love the story of Saul, on the road to Damascus, in Acts 9. Saul, whose name was later changed to Paul, was struck by the Great Light that caused his immediate turnaround. If I may ask, what road were you travelling on and what was your destination, ‘Damascus’ before you encountered Christ?
The helper | Our teacher in the transformation
The helper, who is the Holy Spirit, teaches individuals who have accepted the doctrine of Christ how to transform into His image. As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, the ever-flowing outpouring of the Spirit of Christ remains open to experience. See, only His Spirit living in us can show us How to be like Him. This perfect Biblical representation is in the Power of the Holy Spirit to re-produce itself –
“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to Spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ (John 3:6-7, NIV)
Therefore, join in this celebration knowing that we have a helper, our forever companion, to lead us in this transformational process. For Christ said:
“However, the helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything. He will remind you of everything that I have ever told you. “( John 14:26, NOG).
