Love Her, She will protect You! Unlocking Wisdom’s Power enables us to Love Her for the protection she provides. Divine protection settles a wandering heart. The Spirit of Wisdom was, is and will forever be the love of our hearts. It is Her divine duty to invite the sons of men to dine at Her table. The Bible shows us that the Spirit of Wisdom witnessed God’s creative process. In some sense, She, was the apprentice of creation, one that saw the ‘behind the scenes’ of the knitting of the hearts of humans. How amazing it is, She, basically knows how things came to be! Thus, in response to Her invitation, who would not want to sit at her table?

The book of Proverbs, chapter 4, tells of Her beautiful nature and character. Showing us that God created human beings to behold and display His glory in totality. Where in awe of this glory, the Spirit of Wisdom shapes the first commandment in our hearts by first, satisfying man’s natural spiritual hunger for God by revealing the Spirit of God in man. Gods’ Spirit is the ultimate stamp of His creation. This stamp is the spiritual portion in people that Wisdom seeks to bring to light. When our revealed spiritual identity is perceived, we become aware of our divine ingrained glory.

In the awareness of our spiritual identity, the function of Wisdom becomes central in human beings, as one begins to enjoy the partaking of Her eternal being to find meaning and purpose. In finding, we give God glory through using the perceived identity for productivity in Gods’ Kingdom. The everlasting Word tells us to, Love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and soul, aspects that Wisdom delights to unfold with great depth.

Proverbs 4:5 presents us with the window of Her significance, saying: “Get Wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.”  Within this verse, the Spirit of Wisdom gently presents three special instructions. 

The first is to get Wisdom. Wisdom is possessing the ability to choose the best possibility that corresponds to God’s unique purpose for your life and intentionally working towards its fulfillment. And where do we get Wisdom? From God’s throne.

Second, she reveals and settles understanding after gaining the Spirit of Wisdom. Understanding comes within the mental realization and perception of a situation. It is a process that shapes clarification to trigger a plan of action or acceptance. Operating in sound understanding permits Wisdom to order and direct the actions of individuals towards their goal.

Thirdly, Wisdom tells us to always have her in remembrance. She says to us, “… do not forget my words, or turn away from them.” Meaning that we are not to deliberately dismiss, throw away, or intentionally bury Her words within. She advises us on the certainty that our encounter with various life situations will require the application of Her Words in order to realize forward movements.

Until the day of Christ Jesus, we are to number our days in thanksgiving, as we apply our hearts to the words of Wisdom.
